Bio

Kgomotso Monyai is a storyteller whose voice moves fluidly across broadcasting, theatre and the written word. She is a producer, radio broadcaster, theatre practitioner, voice artist and writer, who approaches her work with intellectual curiosity and emotional depth.


She holds an Honours degree from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University), and her writing appears in the acclaimed anthology Between the Pillar and the Post: Contemporary South African Monologues and Scenes, contributing to the evolving landscape of South African theatre.


In radio, Kgomotso currently produces Weekend Breakfast with Gugs Mhlungu on 702, serves as a traffic reporter on 702, and stands in as a presenter on 947. She is a skilled facilitator and host, known for steering thoughtful, culturally resonant conversations.


As a voice artist, her versatility extends across animation, gaming and international productions. She voices the lead character, Ryder, in Paw Patrol, the principal voice in World of Tanks online, and has performed dubbing roles in prominent Netflix productions, showcasing her vocal versatility, adaptability and a strong understanding of brand tone and performance requirements.
