Susan Danford is an English speaking award-winning international actor and voice artist.   Susan’s vocal style ranges from Warm, Conversational, Soft, to brighter Medium-sell campaigns. Her clear, neutral tones and transatlantic sounds, seamlessly align her voice to campaigns for a global audience.  Susan’s 3-decade career in film, television and theatre brings valuable experience to her work, allowing her to shift with ease between comedy to more serious content, character to straight, neutral reads.

Past clients include; BMW, Coke a Cola, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Pick ‘n Pay, Carrol Boyes, Laager Rooibos Tea, SABC, Mnet,  insurance companies and hotel chains.  Alternate retail brands include Mario’s Jewellers, Petley’s, Spindle, Tafelberg Furnishers, Banks Catering, Somerset Mall, Mantelli’s.

During the lockdown Susan was invited by The Baxter Theatre to read and record stories and poetry, supporting community radio stations and learners having to stay indoors, unable to attend school.

Susan’s versatility includes performing in (and coaching) various dialects; British (R.P. London Estuary, Essex), and American (Californian, Southern, Mid-West) dialects for major Film and Television Networks, including BBC, Netflix, Warner Brothers, ITV, HBO Max.

Susan lives in Cape Town, South Africa with the flexible option of being able to record from her home recording studio.
