Sarah began working for Radio Retail as a freelance voice artist in her final year of UCT Drama training (2001),  where she was the monthly birthday voice, as well as doing 20 – 30 hard sell in-store product ads. This was excellent training for when she moved to Johannesburg and worked as a Voice artists for a few years until babies and life got in the way. After nearly nine years working as an academic at Wits University in Johannesburg as a Voice and speech lecturer, Sarah moved back to Cape Town in 2016.  She is currently putting her toe tentatively back into the VO world, having completed a number of Audiobooks, as well as a few small VO’s here and there. She also holds an MA in Theatre and Performance, specializing in Theatre Voice.
