Sam Roy has 32 years of commercial radio experience having worked at Good Hope FM, KFM 94.5 , Heart FM and Smile FM. Currently Sam presents the Afternoon Drive Show for a community radio station, Perron 95.1 FM, based in Malmesbury. (App.perronfm.co.za). He is able to deliver narration in a fluid and measured manner, and the timbre of his voice draws the listener in.
He has the ability to perform any commercial read that the brief and/or the copy dictates. Whilst working at the various radio stations, his voice was often used for station promos. He also works as the PA Announcer/DJ for the Proteas (Mens’ and Women’s Cricket Teams) when they play at any stadium in South Africa. Sam also does voice dubbing for several Turkish and Indian soap operas. His voice is used for persons from the age of 30 till 60.
